Ajoy Kapoor, MD

A Connecticut native, Dr. Kapoor earned his medical degree at the University of Connecticut. He then spent 7 years in the Midwest where he completed his residency in internal medicine at Northwestern University and fellowship in cardiology at the University of Chicago, before returning home to join Connecticut Heart group, where he has practiced for over 10 years. He specializes in noninvasive diagnostic cardiology and is the director of CHG's nuclear cardiology lab. He also enjoys his bustling practice, though he is never too busy to spend time with his patients and ensure that they are well taken care of. He holds admitting privileges at Yale New Haven Hospital and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He sees patients in our New Haven, Branford, Hamden and North Haven offices.
